For this body of work, I decided to document the mission churches and adobe buildings of the Southwest. I've always been fascinated with Native American and Spanish histories since these pre-date the confederation of the United States. For example, San Agustín de la Isleta Mission
dates back to the 1300s, more than 300 years before its conversion to a Christian monastery.
